First off, apologies for the recent flood of entries. I understand as well as anyone that so many entries are annoying to sift through. I just wanted to go ahead and have them ready for when I'm done with the series synopsi and FAQ things while I'm thinking about it.

And now, to business. When I have my comics done and posted on here, I know that some people may want to use the images and characters in certain ways. I want to make sure that they are used in a way that will not infringe on my rights as an artist, so here are some uses that I will tolerate for my artwork, and some that I will not. (These terms apply to any image I post on any of my accounts. This includes my images at ~WeirdiesCollabs.)

Non-profit uses(such as in signs for library sections)? Yes! I will allow any public library or school to print out my images and use them for non-profit applications. I say this because a year ago, I saw a sign in the public library directing where the graphic novels were, using a Suta-Raito image of Inuyasha. (Is there a hyphen in "Inuyasha"? I think there is, but I'm not sure.) I do not know if permission was given for this particular image and usage, so I wanted to go ahead and clear this up for my stuff. PuppyLuver Studios images are available for use in public library section signs, art class reference and any other use a school or library can find that is non-profit. I will also allow my images to be used in flyers for bake sales and yard sales.

Personal use(computer wallpapers, etc) Yes! PuppyLuver Studios images are available for use in computer wallpapers and as wall decorations. In fact, I am working on wallpaper-size images as we speak.

Avatars(for deviantART, LiveJournal, forums, etc) Yes! You are free to crop sections of PuppyLuver Studios images for use as your social networking profile icons, so long as you give credit. I plan to make avatars for you to use, but as no artist can predict which scene the fans will like best, you are free to make your own from my images until I create an official one(or after I do so, if you like the one you made so much).

Advertising(posting a link to a PuppyLuver Studios image in a message to a friend to tell them about PLStudios projects they may like) Yes! I don't understand why everyone gets so antsy about people referencing their work or brand names. It's advertising that they don't have to even pay for! So if you link a friend to my comics, stories or miscellaneous images, you're welcome. However, only the link is acceptable. Don't let me catch you reposting my images in your deviantART gallery or on PhotoBucket.

Fan art(using PLStudios characters in your own art) Yes! I love fan art! As long as it's your own work, I don't care if it has my characters in it. In fact, you may even score brownie points with me. (To my friends--if I'm in a crappy mood, fan art is a guaranteed way to cheer me up. )

Collages and slideshows(taking any number of my images and puuting them together in a compilation) Absolutely NOT! This is infringing on copyright will not be tolerated. I have experienced the despair of having someone take my art and use it in a slideshow(to be specific, it was some images of humanizations of Viva Pinata characters, used along with others' Viva Pinata art) and I will NOT go through that again.

School art projects(using my characters in your artwork for class) You can try. I am willing to allow my more realistic characters to be used in projects for school. I don't know if you'll get a good grade on it, but I say go for it! Heck, I used Wartortle for my paper mache project last year and I got a really good grade on it! Just remember that if you post images of the art in question on the internet, give credit to who the characters used belong to--me!

School art projects(turning in my images for your projects) No way! You'll fail it, big time. Like myself, art teachers cannot stand art theft.

Selling prints No way! You have no right to sell images that aren't yours. Only I am allowed to sell my images.

Reference(for fanart) Yes! In fact, I am currently working on character reference sheets for specifically this purpose!

Custom character plushies Maybe. This one, I'm kinda iffy on. For now, you are allowed to make your own plushies of my characters for yourself or a friend. You can commission a plush artist to make one for you if you're not too skilled with a needle and thread, but I'd really prefer if you didn't. Only commission someone else if you're desperate, okay? However, if there are official plushies on the market and they're fairly easy to get, I would rather you buy the official ones unless your favorite character is yet to be in plush form.

I think that about clears things up. Now remember, if you're going to use my images, please use them only in the ways I have already given permission for, or you may meet the fate of this poor fan. (Actually, I'd just report you to the admins. I may be dangerous when I'm angry, but I'm not that bad.)
